SIUC (5-6) faltered 65-59 to visiting Bradley University (8-4) before a well attended winter-break home crowd. Although the contest was close for most of the game with the Salukis looking in command at one point leading by 8, the Braves were able to battle back and tie the game at 40-40 in the second half. This was the turning point as the Braves were able to build a lead of 12 points late in the game. The Salukis struggled with their inside play and were unable to set up uncontested outside shots.
