on shutting down the nation's leading scorer Adam Morrison (28.4
ppg). SLU took a 28-27 first-half lead behind 9 points by freshman
guard Dwayne Polk. Gonzaga was able to take the lead during the
second half but never managed to pull away from the Billikens.
A last-second three-point attempt by freshman guard Kevin Lisch
missed its mark and gave the Bulldogs their 60-57 victory. Overall,

guards Tommie Liddell (11 pts, 6 rebounds, 2 assists) and Dwayne
