senior guard Harmony King to clinch a 58-55 victory over higher
rated Miami University
(4-2) at the Bauman-Eberhardt Center before a small crowd (reported
attendance, 486). The Billikens trailed 27-25 at the half but
were able to limit the three-point shooting (24%) of the Redhawks.
The Billikens shot 41% for the game and 20% from 3-point range.
King scored 14 points in the second half to lead the offense.
The Redhawks were led by guard Heather Cusick's 19 points. SLU
outrebounded Miami 46-39. |
