The Billikens took a comfortable 30-14 halftime lead behind senior guard Marque Perry's (5) 15 points. Perry finished with 22 points followed by senior guard Josh Fisher (4) and junior forward Chris Sloan (33) with 10 points each. SLU shot 45% from the field but only 13% from three-point range. The Pirates were led by junior forward Erroyl Bing (33) with 11 points and 10 rebounds. The Billikens trailed on the boards 31 to 29, but committed fewer turnovers (8 vs. 15) and had more steals (10 vs. 3). |
