| SLU (13-10, 5-5) got a needed charge from senior Matt Baniak as they defeated University of South Florida (15-9, 7-4) in the Savvis Center (10,707 reported attendance). The Billikens led 44-36 at halftime, but soon lost their lead with a series of turnovers. After regrouping and several key baskets by Baniak, the Billikens were able to build a comfortable lead and come away with an 82-71 victory. |
