| SLU (15-13, 7-8) used senior night to defeat a stubborn Tulane University (9-19, 2-13) team in the Savvis Center (10,677 reported attendance). The Billikens led 34-31 at halftime and were able to extend their lead to as many as 15 points before the Green Wave mounted a charge, coming to within 2 points late in the second half. Although the Billikens were out-rebounded 39-22, the Green Wave commited 27 turnovers to SLU's 15. The Billikens came away with a 76-66 victory. |
